Jul. 5th, 2013 01:51 pmSo this lottery business is a pretty sensitive topic. I, for one, am looking forward to being matched. I know, I know—it's crazy. But I thought I'd be in a very different place in my life by now. It hasn't happened yet, and I want certain things and I say... what the hell? Maybe I just need a little help getting to where I want to be.
The shot's 50/50, right? That's not so bad. It's really scary and really outrageous but I think it's worth the risk. But maybe that's just my personality. Who knows how this might change when my name actually is pulled from the proverbial hat. (Is that how they do it, do you think?) I reserve the right to change my mind when my time comes, so don't hold me to anything.
In the meantime, congratulations (again!) to our recently engaged couple and I really do wish you the very best. I'm going right back to enjoying this month-long break, in which I may try something totally new. I've never ridden a horse—maybe I'll start with that. ...Or not. Maybe I'll try something a little less unpredictable.
